History and Philosophy
CHANGE Arts (formerly Inspire Change) has operated since 2009, originally as an education project to accompany Broadway Shows (including “Memphis” and “Allegiance”). Formally incorporated as a nonprofit in 2022, CHANGE Arts has already served over 15,000 students from the New York metro area, Los Angeles, and London.
Through its one-of-a-kind platform, Find Your Art, CHANGE allows educators to identify thematically meaningful visual, performing, and literary arts events to complement and enhance their teaching. CHANGE supports educators every step of the way: from securing tickets and subsidizing ticket prices when necessary, to scheduling pre- and post-show workshops and discussions with Teaching Artists.
Through collaboration, we can build awareness of today’s cultural experiences to ensure tomorrow’s audiences. We firmly believe the arts to be an empathy machine, and that empathy inspires CHANGE.
